Due to the potential dangers in the field of mining, the government of Russia has instituted strict regulations in the area of communications equipment to this sector, and only companies that receive approval from the proper authorities can sell, install and maintain systems to this market.
Our Partners in Russia have taken the task of focusing on this market very seriously. Corall Telecom received a certificate of approval from the “Sertium” Certification Agency and also from the Federal Service of Russia for Ecological, Technical and Atomic Supervision, allowing our Partners to provide telecommunications turn-key solutions for the mining enterprises.

Red Sea project to be released as Sea Softswitch

Tadiran is putting the finishing touches on its softswitch which had been developed under the project name "RedSea". This all-new pure IP softswitch Version 1.0 had not been commercially available in most markets. Red Sea 2.0 is installed in beta sites abroad. When commercially released later this year in the U.S., the product will officially be the "Sea Softswitch". Although its primary market aim is non-Coral applications, it will be branded using the popular name "Coral". The Sea Softswitch shares no architecture with the Coral IP PBX systems, though it will be the migration path for current Coral customers as their existing systems become gateways controlled by the Sea Softswitch.
